Pipeline Area on May 4, 2009 : Had some time off today and went to check on this out of season country swell. I was a bit late as the onshore breezes had picked up and was mushing out the surf. Had some good size, but not the greastest conditions. On the way home, Haleiwa had a brush fire on the side of the road. A fender bender happen also as the fire engine passed by.

Waimea - December 5, 2008 : Finally got to catch Waimea Bay action! A lot of back wash made for spectacular spray off incoming waves. Some mean barrels too. Too bad no one was in the middle of it...

Pipeline - October 28, 2008 : Very hazy with vog. Couldn't even see the mountains. Barely could see the waves. Disorganized, side on-shore winds and plenty of north closing out Pipe for the most part. OTW had some gaping barrels with no riders

Pipeline - November 28, 2008 : Pipeline was going off! Coming up with a new NW swell. Light onshore winds made for some smooth conditions. Started to get cloudy at 10:30, so I left. I imagine it kept getting bigger...

Columbus Day - October 13, 2008 : The first advisory level surf to hit the North Shore of Oahu. I walked from Ke`iki to Pipeline. Off The Wall was ok and Log Cabins was 6-8ft(HS) on the sets... Rocky and family were nice enough to give me a lift back to my car. That's their little boy playing in the water collecting on the beach. Thanks again for the ride!
